This blog get chances often to be ranked in the first page of Google. I didn’t understand much about search engine. Before I use this All in One SEO Pack wordpress plugin. I suggest you to use this plugin if you want to optimized your site for SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
But after I switched to use Thesis Theme, Thesis is taking care of everything about SEO. I will explain you more details.
If you run a blog in Khmer language, please understand that Google can’t read Khmer. I have talked and adviced many friends to be careful for 3 things:
1. Title, that’s ok if you want to keep title in Khmer but you should put meta title in English. This is to tell search engine what is all about. Search engines allow a maximum of 70 characters for the title. This is also important to keep in mind. If you are using Thesis Them, it will count your title automatically. If you don’t put anything, it will take the default title.
2. Description, a part of your blog post, description is something that search engine can quickly analyze your content and it show also into the result on the search page. Search engines allow a maximum of roughly 150 characters for the description.
3. Keyword, I am using a Tagaroo plugin that developed by Open Calais. This plugin will suggest you very good tags that will be used as keyword of the blog post. If you internet connection is slow, make sure you disable auto generate tags, because it will propose new keyword in real-time as you type and it would stuck if your internet connection is slow. When you finish the post, click on button “suggest tags”, then the plugin will connect to the database of the Open Calais that have a good references of semantic analysis, will provide you the most relevant keyword, specifically for SEO.
These 3 things can be handled easily by Thesis theme, that’s what I like the most about this Optimized theme for SEO. You just worry about the contents, write good contents is the most important thing for the blogger. I can’t stop telling myself this.
