i know the story of Tum Teav, i think all the people know the story but to tell you the true, i never have enough patience to read the whole poem,
it is not easy to understand and most of the words are written in Sanskrit,
i know the story from a simple way and it was a Yiké play, i was living in Kratie at that time but when i came to Phnom Penh, i got chance to watch Yiké that told the whole story of Tum Teav,
it was a great classic love story,
i was interesting in writing poem but believed me until these days, i never finish one,
there’s a lot of rules and combinations,
which required a lot of works to compose,
if i understand a good poem has to get sweet meaning and respect to all rules,
have you ever try once? i bet most of the people have tried,
some of them success, some of them stuck and forget it,
i was stuck for many years, but still inside me i still have something to tell
but how? coz i can’t write any poem…
since so far, i wrote 3 texts,
recorded with a background of music i like,
some of time are loud enough,
some of them u need to turn a volume up,
coz i don’t have the quality microphone,
and i just learn a bit on how to edit the sound,
in my short story the man on the roof,
i just show my intention on why not to give more freedom to express feeling?
sometime rules can block the creativity and we finished by forgetting it.
should we give more freedom to compose the poem?
here are the 3 texts that i created,
is that your voice? I dont care about the text but i love your voice lol .. I will get a good sleep tonight
