Cambodia Stock Exchange is opened. It will help to boot the Cambodian economy and attract more investors to Cambodia.
But at the same time, we also have another concern. Are we helping them enough to make a good start-up business here in Cambodia?
The World Bank has ranked Cambodia one of the most difficult countries in which to start a small business, in terms of both time and cost.
Somehow, I found the opinion from a vice president of a Cambodian commercial bank is a good advice:
Why is it difficult to find regional specialists on Cambodia in Korea, one of the largest foreign investors in Cambodia? The key success factor for entry to Cambodia, an amazing market, is localization.
I do agree localization will play a big impact to any foreign investor. But at the same time, it would be great if Cambodian government encourages and facilitates to the foreign investors to start their business smoothly.
I will try to get some more details on how to start business in Cambodia. It would be a useful post.
Are you looking for doing any business in Cambodia? Can you share your difficulties and own successes with us?
