These are the top 10 best places to visit in Cambodia that you cannot miss during your visit.
Angelina Jolie visited Cambodia during the shooting of the film Tomb Raider in 2001. Since then, she keeps coming back to the country for many reasons.
David Beckham came to Cambodia in 2015 as a UNICEF ambassador.
You don’t have to have any reason. Visit the country. It is safe and cheap. You will have a lot of a great time here. Most of the people who visited Cambodia once will come back again.
I write this post to give you some ideas about where to visit the country. We will continue to update this post as soon as we discover new places.
For now, here is our recommendation:
1. Siem Reap
Siem reap is often listed in the top cities to visit. The main reason is to visit the Angkor Wat temple complex. But there are many interesting activities you can enjoy.

2. Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh is the main city of Cambodia. It is a crowded city where all important activities happen.
Most of the people visit the Killing field museum. I can stop you from visiting the place to feel how horrible our history. But you can visit a lot of places around the city.
Going shopping is one of the most popular activities. There are also other interesting places to visit.

3. Sihanoukville

If you can’t afford the cost to stay at Koh Song Saa, Koh Rong Samloem is your alternative. it is cheaper and safe enough to stay a few nights.
It has a very nice clear water, perfect white sand.

Kep is a calm and beautiful small city. When you visit it one time, you will want to come back again. The city gives you good seafood, relax and sleep in nature.

8. Bokor
Bokor is a mountain located in Kampot province. It is under development. The road to the mountain is well built. There’s also a good hotel there. You don’t have to start up there. A day trip is enough. You can stay in Kep and visit Bokor on the day.

9. Mondulkiri
Mondulkiri is located up on the mountain. It can provide you with fresh air from pure nature. It is cooler than any other provinces. The most famous place is the waterfall Bou Sra.

Ratanakiri is also located in the northeast of Cambodia. The famous place is the lake Yak Loum.
