1. Airport Disaster Drill Held in Cambodia
As I mentioned yesterday about Airport on alert for crash drill, hundreds of participants took part in an emergency disaster drill Tuesday at the Phnom Pehn International Airport.
The simulated plane crash disaster drill required participants to focus on moving passengers from the crash site, fighting fires and treating injuries.
Senior government officials said that firefighters and rescuers learned a lot from the exercise.

3. New outbreak of bird flu confirmed in Cambodia
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia — Cambodian authorities began a mass killing of ducks Wednesday after confirming a fresh outbreak of the deadly bird flu virus.
The cull comes after more than 15,000 ducks died last week in the southern province of Takeo and samples tested positive Tuesday for the H1N1 virus, commonly known as bird flu, said Kao Phal, an official of the Agriculture Ministry.
He said the sale of duck meat and its transport from the affected villages will be banned.
So far there have been no signs of human infection from the ducks, the official said.
At least seven Cambodians have died from the disease since the first reported outbreak in 2004. - AP
4. Leak of break-up of Keo Pich Pisey’s marriage
I read on the magazine while I was waiting for my turn to get my hair cut, I was surprised when I read the story about Keo Pich Pisey. The mother in law complain about her son that spent about 10,000 USD just to be able to arrange this marriage happen.
Then suddenly it didn’t stay last, I feel pity about the man and very disappointed about Pich Pisey.
