Time is a created thing. To say: “I don’t have time” is like saying: “I don’t want to.” ― Lao Tzu
I used to be a time hacker.
I wanted to make a good use of each minute I had. I didn’t want to lose any of it. I wanted to complete big things in life. There were many things I wanted to do. Too many!
But as consequence, I couldn’t have more time. We all have 24/7. The more I wanted the time, the less time I got.
I lost focus. I was frustrated. I was completely stressful.
At the end, I didn’t get any result. I wanted to master the time. But in fact, the time mastered me.
Since last year, I tried a new approach.
I stopped fighting with time. I accepted as it went by.
Things are getting better. I have peace in mind. I get back my energy. I started to do a small thing when time allows me to.
I finally realized everything has its own time. You need to be patient and wait for the right time, to do the right thing.
It reminds me of a Chinese fishing man who sits on his boat and waits for the whole day for the fish to eat his hook. He trains himself to be patient.
When you stop fighting with time, you will have time.
Don’t try to change the world when you find yourself look so misery in the mirror. Take enough sleep. Eat well. You will have the time. For everything.
Are you having a problem with time too? How are you going to fight with it? Please share your experience in the comment session. I would love to hear from you.
