Who’s behind KhmerBird?

My name is Santel PHIN, I got my full time job at Cambodia Airports. I have been working here since 2001, in IT department which I shared my main responsibilities in Phnom Penh International Airport and other two branches airports: Siem Reap and Preah Sihanouk International airports. I love working here, with great people, friendly and motivated colleagues.

The main reason I started this blog is to share information about Cambodia. Many people are ill-informed about Cambodia; it is important that they learn the real facts about my country.

I launched khmerbird.com at the beginning of 2008. I learned how to set up a blog and manage the hosting server on my own. I also write and edit all the contents. Today khmerbird.com has been known as a good place to find good information and connect with Cambodia.

From hobby to making money blogging

When I decided to get married, I already told myself that I need to increase my revenue. I started to look at options that I could make money from my blog. I started to implement Google Adsense and earned very slowly from it. But today I can earned more or less 5 USD per day.
