I think we have waited for years to be able to access to iTune Store. Earlier last week, Apple has opened iTune store to new 12 countries including Cambodia.
I have tried last weekend to buy an App for Vitou. It was working perfectly. I was mad since few months when I tried my Visa card and it was not possible to buy anything because they don’t accept Visa card from Cambodia.
Now it is OK. It is accepted and now it is matter to buy it or not. It is up to you. You can decide to continue using Instalous or spend less than 2$ to buy App legally via iTune Store.
There was a lot of problem when we use Instalous. We don’t know which file is a good one. And we don’t even know if there’s any unsafe file installed at the same time as App. We have to keep in mind that nothing is free in this world. But as long as you don’t have any information stored on your iPhone or iPad, you are safe to use Instalous.
But you have to have a lot of patience. Sometime there’s no update. Sometime we cannot download the file due to missed file or unavailable to download.
The opening of the iTune Store in Cambodia would allow to all the music productions in Cambodia to sell their music via iTune.
I think soon or later we need to make a choice. If we want to support Khmer music and help the artists to get survive and encourage them to product more music with good quality, you need to support them by buying their music.
It is up to us to make a choice when we buy something.
I wrote this post because I think many people are waiting to confirm that iTune Store is now opened in Cambodia.
Are you waiting for it too? Will you buy App or music from iTune store?
