One funny thing that possibly happens on earth

by khmerbird on November 18, 2008

BoothThe third booth along National Road No. 4

maybe there is no other place in this world that we need to pay the toll twice for one way road: at the entry and also at the sortie. recently we need to pay 3 times for one way to Kompongsom: entry, in the middle and sortie.

now along the national road no. 4 from Phnom Penh to Kampongsom, we have the third booth in the middle and the cashier did play a joke on us.

we bought the normal ticket which is cost 2800 Riels, and when we arrive at the middle booth, they ask us to buy another ticket. we show them the ticket we bought, because there’s no reason why we need to pay in the middle of the road. the cashier said we need to pay. it was a very hard time for us to imagine and understand how this thing could possibly happen ? we bought the 2nd ticket that cost 2800 Riels again and at the sortie near Kampongsom we need to buy another one that cost the same 2800 Riels.

in total we paied 8400 Riels, incredible !

and the story is at the first booth, if you go to Kampongsom, or come back to Phnom Penh, ask for special ticket, i didn’t understand what is special ticket, they didn’t mention a goddam thing. and why just go direct to Kampongsom or Phnom Penh should be considered so Special? in fact they got a one way ticket direct to Kampongsom or Phnom Penh that cost if i remember 5200 Riels. they didn’t put the proper sign board and if we don’t ask they will give you the normal ticket, and i don’t see the reason why we need to buy another ticket at the middle booth if we mistaken bought a wrong ticket, because we need to pay another 2800 Riels at the end anyway (that it is already insane).

it’s insane and i will do anything to find the way to give this link to AZ company. it’s too easy man to come and put the booth ask for money. i would build the 4th one soon somewhere along the road … me too i also need that easy cash.

i understand the purpose of middle booth is to catch the automobile from Koh Kong and somewhere in the middle, but if someone buy a ticket already, they absolutely no need to buy another one at the middle booth.

or otherwise i will build another booth too ;-)

First Ip Man film is coming in December

by khmerbird on November 18, 2008

as i heard there are two projects to make movie based on Ip Man’s life, the grand master of Kung Fu and he is also the master of famous Bruce LEE,

one is directed by Wilson Yip, director of SPL (which i like the most) and Flash Point which i would say the fighting scene should be more realistic and a little bit more persuaded reason. the first Ip Man movie is said to be released in December 2008.

khmerbird.com is attempting to its 2nd degree

by khmerbird on November 16, 2008

vocation is almost finish in few hours – time pass so quick for this kind of thing. i passed few days at the beach, latest night there i didn’t remember where i did take the bath or where did we change the cloth :-)

i hope we didn’t get naked on the beach LOL (due to beers and almost 7 liters of red wine…)

few latest days, i did have time to work for khmerbird.com, there are many things i wanted to add and customize, now at this time there are few things have been done: database have been optimized and a very good All in One SEO plugin help me a lot in customize the keywords. i arrived to push out a page where link to all my writing, and a collection of Press that talked few words about my writing, not much but it would allow visitor to understand more about my writing.

then i mess up with feeds and came out with a share items on the google reader, and also some feeds from other Cloggers and some friends. i like to have that since long time, it is easy for me to know the new posts from others friends.

If it’s true, let’s pray for DJ ANO

by khmerbird on November 7, 2008

KissingDJ or VJ ANO in her new styleDJ ANO seem to be one of the victims from the jealousy. Apparently it’s make sense to be true, according to local newspapers Koh Santepheap  And Reaksmey Kampuchea.

If it’s true, whatever the reason behind and who’s wrong or right but the punishment is seem to be the cruel one. It represents a wrong solution for this kind of thing and it is also against the humanity.

Let’s pray for her.
