Starting this new year, there was a good news to all Cambodian bloggers.
Google Adsense provides Western Union Quick Cash option to all publishers in Cambodia.
What does it mean?
It means a lot to us.
We don’t have to wait 1 or 2 or 3 months until the check arrive and spend 1 more month of cleaning and need to pay 30$ to 40$ to get our payment.
Google Adsense publishers in Cambodia can now go to any bank to get their payment without any fee.
This new kind of payment gives opportunity to KhmerBird to get the monthly revenue from the Ads it generates. We can use this revenue to make the blog grow by hiring Cambodian local talent writers.
KhmerBird wants story not news. Any article submit need to have your own opinion. Why you think it is wrong or right? Why you think it is important for us to discuss about?
Just Telling what is happening is not enough. I don’t want KhmerBird to become like many other websites that provide only news about Cambodia.
We need more personal story, ideas, thoughts and individual voice. The writer can express their own idea how they see thing around them. This would help to bring good discussion to find a better way of life for our society.
This small blog still generates small amount of revenue and will be able to pay 5$ per 500 word of article. This is something we can offer right now.
The writer will get paid at the end of each month. I plan to have a monthly meeting with writers where we can discuss and make the payment at the same time.
We cover almost every topics: Art and culture, Events, Lifestyle and Social. The most important thing is how we think of our society. How things around effect us and how we can live our life in a better way.
This is the main theme for the content writers. The writers can propose topic if they have. If you don’t have, I will send some topics for you to choose and write.
