Barack ObamaThank to Obama, U.S. is spending $10,000,000 to improve education in Cambodia.

This Program Funding will help to improve the future of Cambodia. Basic Education is very important and it’s the foundation for everything.

I am very happy to hear this and be careful Obama, give it to the right person, to the right NGO so that there’s no corruption when the program starts. i hope you will assure also the money goes to the right channel and reach the original goal.

i get some people tweets from U.S. that they are not happy with Obama decision to give such a big funding to Cambodia. maybe there are more people that wonder why $10 million of their tax dollars is going to Cambodia for our education.

it’s because America and Cambodia, we have a long history together. let’s look back a bit, not to hurt anybody but just to remind us a bit of the relationship between U.S. and Cambodia in old days.

according to the Ohio History Central Bombing of Cambodia: 100,000 Cambodians lost their lives, with an additional two million people becoming homeless.

find a good documentary from Journalist John Pilger explains how the United States bombing of Cambodia contributed to the rise of the Khmer Rouge.

we should not live in the past, past is the past, it’s gone but we should not forget it either. we forgive and live for tomorrow.

i believe Obama and everybody know the history and this is something he might want to start good relationship between Cambodian and American.

i do hope more American people will come to Cambodia for more business and discover the country that you heard since long time on the TV, Radia and other medias.

It’s time to come here on your own feet!

thank again to Obama,

$10 Million US TAX DOLLARS going to fund education in Cambodia

In fact, Cambodia still need funding from developed countries like USA, Japan… Educational system is needed to be improved because at the present more schools were built but not enough teachers. And then education quality is not good.
