Thank to Obama, U.S. is spending $10,000,000 to improve education in Cambodia.
This Program Funding will help to improve the future of Cambodia. Basic Education is very important and it’s the foundation for everything.
I am very happy to hear this and be careful Obama, give it to the right person, to the right NGO so that there’s no corruption when the program starts. i hope you will assure also the money goes to the right channel and reach the original goal.
i get some people tweets from U.S. that they are not happy with Obama decision to give such a big funding to Cambodia. maybe there are more people that wonder why $10 million of their tax dollars is going to Cambodia for our education.
it’s because America and Cambodia, we have a long history together. let’s look back a bit, not to hurt anybody but just to remind us a bit of the relationship between U.S. and Cambodia in old days.

In fact, Cambodia still need funding from developed countries like USA, Japan… Educational system is needed to be improved because at the present more schools were built but not enough teachers. And then education quality is not good.
