This is something we were waiting for since long time. A real cinema of Hollywood will open on 07 July 2011 with the premiere of Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon.
I learned this from Legend Cinema Fan Page. This is the first Hollywood cinema in Cambodia after absence for a very long time.
The ticket will be available for booking from 04 July. Please call to 088 954 9857 (Contact time : 8:00 to 17:00 Mon-Sat) for more details about the ticket.
Sorry there’s no booking service but you can purchase the ticket directly at Legend Cinema at City Mall.
Here are the schedule for the movies to come:
7th July: Transformers 3
14th July: X-Men first class
21st July: Kung fu panda 2
28th July: Thor
4th Aug: Capitan America
11st Aug: Rise of the planet of the ape
18th Aug: Cowboy Vs Aliens
I will be there on the opening but don’t know the exact time yet, I will keep inform later.

It is a very common courtesy in any countries that people must not talk and turn off their cell phone during movie presentation. It is simple and I don’t think we even need to be reminded about it. As a civilized person, you know what is expected to behave in a movie theater.
I think now it is better than before, I don’t get any disturb by people talk on the phone anymore.
I believe Cambodian people is learning quickly!
Because I have experience (at the other cinema) that kid or student are feel happy when the movie showing a woman undress and mak…..!
May be people in this country have more open mind, but this will not happen in other countries!
Will children be allowed to watch movie with 16+ view?
I saw a lot of children watch some action movie which I think it is not so good for them. They should restrict on this!
Sorry to say, as Cambodian myself, i have to admit that certain Cambodians really talk; they discuss the movie during show time, some even try to explain to their friends or relatives on the contents of the movie, some even talk to their friends using mobile phone simply to tell them about the movies showing; worst yet, some even try to flight with the characters, villains mostly, in the movies. It really is annoying. This is the same apply to traffic; certain people, primarily students and certain “HIGH SO” people, who shall be the off spring roll model to all, very often violating the traffic rules. Therefore, when people criticize, one shall take certain measure to realize and try to correct such error instead of taking it so offensively, especially on the racism.
My fellow Cambodians, in the theater, i have observed that NO ONE even stand up for Cambodian National Anthem; So, HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE CAMBODIAN???
If this to be in Thailand, you can be jailed for sure.
Why would you want to pledge your allegiance in the movie theater? It’s stupid. Who cares what the Thais do. Should we also jail people for insulting the royal family?
Another thing is that most Khmers need to shut the FK up in the theater. Its really annoying to hear them yap while we all try to watch the movie.
U bad…! Everyone always talk in the cinema not only khmer…. Have u ever been abraod? Have u ever seen how they act in the cinema? Just say some people but please don’t use Khmer

This is a very bad habit of Cambodian people who talk in the cinema. Maybe Legend should remind them something, maybe they should put a sign on the wall!

Transformers 3 is in 3D, I am not sure about the ticket price because I not yet have chance to go there (was way from town this weekend).

I want to see the Transformers 3 yesterday. The quality of the picture is amazingly perfect and the whole experience is perfect. I’ve been waiting for Hollywood movie to hit Phnom Penh cinema for years so I super exited to get to see this movie

I am visiting Cambodia this summer and i wanted to see Transformers 3, i was wondering if anyone has been to this theater and can tell me the quality of the picture and sound at this place. Is the quality the same as a theater in the U.S.?

hey because it just exist in Cambodia i think u should try with ur family, but it would be better if u go and buy the ticket first before it is showing. 2D only 4$ And 3D is 6$ only.
it was awesome i caught last week i rated that cinema in rank of the other from outside. picture sound and even the environment it was very nice. and especially the price of ticket is abit lower if compare to the region.
I have been to a few cinemas in Cambodia. They need to inform the movie goers with the following:
1. Please don’t talk on the cellular phone when the show is on.
2. Please try to sit in one place and don’t walk in and out of the show.
I just review and correct the post, sometime is hard to write when there’s crying around you … LOL

Wow! The first Hollywood cinema in Cambodia! I’m going to watch Transformers 3 tmr in my country Singapore! I’m glad to know that a Hollywood cinema is goin to open-just another sign of growth and entrance of new markets into Cambodia! By the way, do you know how much a ticket would cost to watch a movie in the Hollywood cinema in Cambodia? In Singapore it costs an average of US$8, depending on which day you watch it. Is it affordable for most peole living in phnom penh?

Hi SreyPoch, 3D is a kind of cinema that could you an image in 3 dimensions, normally with our own eyes, we can see only 2D but with a 3D glasses, you will be able to see 3D. That’s what I can explain.
I think the better way is to go to Legend Cinema and make your first experience in 3D.
