by khmerbird on July 21, 2009

filmChou Davy, a Franco-Khmer filmmaker, invited us to the 2 Cambodian films screening this week, here is the original message i got from facebook, hope you guys will join for the screening.

Subject: 2 screenings this week

Hi everybody,

I would like to inform you about two screenings this week in which I am concerned:

- Thursday at 7pm the Metahouse will screen EXPIRED, a 10 minutes short film I made in Cambodia in summer 2008. The film is Cambodian speaking with english subtitles, was selected in international film festival in France and I would be glad if you join the screening.

- Saturday at 4pm the Bophana Center screen TEP SODACHAN, a cambodian film from the 60s that my grandfather, Van Chann, produced. It is cambodian speaking with no subtitles so only Cambodian speaking people can attend the screening. I will also be very pleased if some of you join to discover this film in the same time than me, or come to watch it again.
