Hot News – all Cambo Six Centers are closed

by khmerbird on February 26, 2009

what is Cambo Six:

Cambo six has been established since 2002, it has more than 20 services centers, which are located in most of the major cities in Cambodia and provides services in soccer gaming.

my reflection:

i gave my own and private message since the day i wrote my first Khmer short story “KATUOCH”, at that time of my writing, the main major problems was Cambo Six and Road Accident.

i stated clearly in my short story:

There were a lot of people in this country and others who were obsessed with the games. It was because they were poor and would like to have a little more money.

gambling will definitively not bring you more money, but it will take all you got. when someone open a casino or gambling, it’s because he knows how to take your money. he will take all you got.

i don’t have the exact number of what Cambo Six earned per day, but i heard some day their benefit can reach something like 1 Million. who can say gambling bring you more money? but in consequence a lot of robberies, murders … cheating, divorcing etc.

there’s no good in every way or in any kind in gambling.

current situation:

now this morning, at the time of writing, all Cambo Six branches have been closed,

it was closed more faster than excepted, the PRIME Minister Hun Sen called for the closure of Cambo Six on Tuesday, no matter the scale of financial compensation the state would be required to offer as a result.

this thing should happen more earlier, but no matter how long we have waited, it now become true.

good things will come to Cambodia, even in a slow process but for sure everything will be getting better in the years to come.

if you not yet read my short story “KATUOCH”, it’s not too late to read :-)

I support his good decision. But it is a bit weird… Cambosix can be closed… I thought it was not possible to close it.

I am totally support with Prime minister. It will bring a lot of good things to Cambodian. I hope that Cambo Six will not come back again. However, i would like him to help to a round 10000 employees ( RFI radio) who lost their uninformed.
