Kep Secret, the Cambodian experimental film, is featured on December 8, 2012 at the Cambodia International Film Festival 3rd Edition with other nine Cambodian and International short films.
Kep Secret is screened at Sabay Cineplex, the 5th floor of Sorya Shopping Centre, Phnom Penh.
Kep Secret is a short film combine different ways of telling stories in an attempt to explore a new wave and re-invigoration of old archive into a new memories.
Kep Secret is the collaboration between Kon Khmer Koun Khmer Collective (4K) and Big Stories production. This would be the first substantial activity for the group since the FilmCamp Cambodia in March 2012.
Kep Secret is directed by Prum Seila (born 1987, Phnom Penh) ) graduated from the Royal University of Phnom Penh’s Department of Media and Communication in 2010. Since 2009, he has been involved in the 4K film collective.
In 2009 he was a production manager and scriptwriter on the film Twin Diamonds.
He was production manager of the Golden Re-Awarkening exhibition celebrating the history of Cambodian cinema and was a lead organizer of the first ever FilmCamp in 2012, attended by over 500 people.
Kep Secret is screened with other nine short films from Cambodian young filmmaker and international filmmakers. The event is organized by the Cambodia International Film Festival.
