Where have all the men gone

I was waiting for someone to pick me. Just in front of the hotel, there was a Korean restaurant. I came in and asked for a beer. There was a pretty sweet Korean singer on the stage. She sang all those classical English songs, something about 20 years a go, I could hear again for example the river of Babylon.

Then, there was a group of Korean women, all women came in. There were about 20 or something. They ordered Angkor beers and some of them even went to sign on the stage.

I watched them with a strange feeling. Where are all the men gone? Or was it just a tour trip of women? They are in the middle ages, I guess most of them are married and have children. They were completely enjoyed the night, and I started to realized they might old friends in school or even from childhood… I feel happy when sometime they could organize such a trip with all their friends alone.

I believe there is a time for everything, and at that evening there was a time for them. they can forget the husband, they can forget the children, they were all back together with no attachment with no worry of tomorrow.
