I just finished the header dynamic image. It contains now 10 photos of high resolution image about Cambodia. If you have high beautiful image about Cambodia and you want to feature your images here, you are always welcome.
I have been working hard to bring Khmerbird along the way. It seem like having a heavy bag on my back. But I am happy with the today’s result. Khmerbird is still and always an important place for Cambodian’s sources.

I have been working behind the scene for quite sometime and very difficult to find a way to share the information on this blog. I have setup a system that will collect all the information related to Cambodia.

Some article will be feature in full contents, some only expert or few remarks about it and will be in all case link back to original contents.

I have been blogged for years, some of my posts are good some is not so interesting.
During these few days, I am happy with the new Thesis theme. I sometime also feature the blog posts from others, which actually I could see some readers are confused who is the writer.
I will work on this new theme to separate the contents written by me and others.

I am getting old one more year ! but at least I have been survived in this world for 34 years until now.
My life have been changed quite a lots since last year. I am married and now living a wonderful life with my wife.
At work, it’s always busy but happy for this kind of job. I am also happy with my blog. This blog get survived on a particularly subject which is not good pay from Adsense but I am happy to do everything to this blog survive.
I plan to bring more news and blog posts from around the world concerned Cambodia.
I take this opportunity to thank you all for your visit and support this blog since so far.

I made an approach since June 2009 to the thesis theme. I heard everybody love it. I purchase a single license but since then I didn’t have time to try fully what Thesis can do.
I also do a survey should khmerbird switch to new theme? The result of the votes still insist me to keep the Mimbo with magazine style.
I used to visit dap-news.com and I would say I am a fan of this updated news around Cambodia and its cities.
But since they switched to the magazine style. I was lost and difficult to read the new contents.
I heard a few friends of mine also don’t like the new theme. It’s for the same reason: difficult to read and know what’s new what’s old. It’s because they are familiar with the classic theme: first in first out.

It took a lot of delay more than expected. Apology again for those who wait for quiet long time.
I started to open for beta testing one week. I will close on Sunday next week 16 Jan 2010. The reason for this short period of opening is for testing. I am alone and have full time job. I work only at night for blogging. But that is a fun work! I started to get revenue 1 USD per day for my blog. This is very little compared to other blogs but I am very satisfy with this result.

This post is to reply to those who asked me to explain how can we get payment from Adsense.
It’s difficult for Cambodia and few others countries that don’t have any other payment option than the cheque. Google have applied to many countries the Transfer money by Western Union. I already asked them about this payment option. They replied me for the moment they can’t provide this kind of payment in Cambodia yet.
What is the rest we can do?
I have asked them for the first time I got my cheque value of 100 USD. I took the cheque and went to the back where I have an account there. For the total about of 100 USD, you can get only 70 USD, 30 USD is for the clearing fee.
The process will take two months.
It means you have to wait two months after giving the cheque to your bank. You need to pay the fee of the process before you get the payment. It’s something crazy but you don’t have much choice. It means you have also to pay 70 USD for start the process. After the bank finished clearance, they will pay you back 40 USD.
I hope this will get you an idea on how to get the payment from Adsense. I just release my hold payment of 300 USD. I will let you know when I get my real cash.
In total i have earned from Adsense 400 USD. I will do the party when I receive the cash.

You might wait for the new update quite a while I guess, here it comes !
The new logo is designed, let me know if any comment on this. I ask the a group designer in Cambodia to help me on this. that logo is something they proposed to me.

how do you find about the current layout of my blog khmerbird.com?
is it difficult to read or to find what you want to read? are you losing while arriving here? do we need to do something with the layout, for example, changing to the simple classic blog form?
or you don’t even understand what i am talking about ? LOL let’s me explain then,
the current layout if a magazine style, which got a lead content on the top, then classified into the categories: Lifestyle, Entertainment and Literature. each category got also a short summary of latest post and 3 others lists of the old posts.
i got few feedback from my closed readers that they would prefer first in first out, or full text/summary of the posts one after one. they don’t really like the magazine style. it make them lost and they don’t know where to click to read what they want to read.
if i understand they would prefer something like Thesis theme
are you feeling the same way?
to get exactly the answer, i might need your feedback on how you prefer me to arrange contents on my blog.
your help would be appreciate, please select which form you prefer and i will make sure when i change the layout, could improve the reading process for my blog.
